BITA ZARGHAMI

Bita Zarghami is the founder and principal of BZ Legal Services in Richmond Hill, Ontario. As a licensed paralegal, realtor, mortgage underwriter, and foreign-trained accountant, Bita brings more than 25 years of real estate and business experience to her legal practice.

Prior to becoming a paralegal, Bita guided residential and commercial clients through more than $100 million in real estate transactions, developing extensive experience in contracts, negotiations, financial matters, and client advocacy.

Bita represents clients in Landlord and Tenant Board matters and Small Claims Court, providing practical, results-focused advocacy. Her real estate and accounting background is particularly valuable in disputes involving tenancy agreements, rent arrears, notices, property-related claims, contracts, and financial records. In Small Claims Court, she assists clients with claims and defences, settlement negotiations, document preparation, and hearing advocacy.

Bita has also developed strong professional relationships with experienced Toronto litigators and other legal professionals throughout her career. She regularly draws on this trusted professional network to exchange perspectives and, where appropriate, consult with experienced counsel on complex or specialized issues arising in client matters. This collaborative approach allows Bita to provide thoughtful, well-rounded advice on a cost-effective basis while maintaining a direct and personal relationship with each client.

Bita also provides notarization and document services, including affidavits, statutory declarations, certified copies, and other documents requiring notarization or commissioning.
